Gaited Morgan Foals

Foals are the fruits of your efforts

There is a sequence of training for all Jellico owned horses. This starts with strong ground work leading to easy initial saddle training. The next step is to build the blocks necessary to insure the horse will be a great pleasure on the trail. This simple obstacle course covers many aspects items which might be encountered on the trail: Items loose under the feet with severe angles; necessity to cross downed items on the trail; crossing creaky bridges; stepping up or down to a different level; and those nasty bushes against the body and head.

(Mary Mels Brandy x Sky Sadie) PEDIGREE

2007 Gaited Palomino Mare

I do not normally like the breeding of half siblings to each other, but this breeding included a heavy concentration of WNS. The WNS horse noted by most is Windenstone, but we owned WNS Virginian and have some of his offspring and grand get. WNS Virginian seemed to bring qualities to the other noted breeding of Jan Mabie Pace. Skylight’s potential combinations include 2019 foal by Westwind Joaquin and 99.8% outside blood of Eastwest Yonder. Plus we have upcoming stallions like Jellico Creme De La Creme and Jellico El Dorado.
