WNS Virginian x Silvershoe Spice - Chestnut Mare foaled May 2004
This lovely chestnut mare was retained to replace her dam. Rose's pedigree combines the best of original old Gaited Morgan blood to produce a horse which looks like the proverbial statement--"poetry in motion". She loves to work and always gives 110%. Since the loss of her wonderful sire, this mare is doubly important to us now. She is among the elite Gaited Morgans of today. She just shouts "I am one of those special Gaited Morgans!" Virginian was truly a sire of Gaited Morgans and this nice young mare proves it. She will be the foundation of our single footed Morgans.
Rose is currently in foal to our palomino gaited Morgan stallion, Silvershoe Sundance, for a March 2012 foal which has already been sold.
DIA H Paladin x Millenium Gold - Perlino Mare foaled April 2007 (CrCrEeAa).
This very rare perlino colored gaited mare is from two of the oldest Gaited Morgan breeding programs of the last forty years-DIA H and Mary Mel. She will be the foundation of producing only colored Gaited Morgan offspring for Jelico Farms Gaited Morgans breeding of Naturally Colored Gaited Morgan Horses.
April Joy will be bred to our chestnut gaited Morgan stallion, Silvershoe Higlander , for a 2013 foal which has already gotten a tentaive owner. This foal will either be a palomino, bucskin or smokey black.

Moon is one of the finest single footed Morgans in the breed. She has produced two foals which are being used by breeders of Missouri Gaited Morgans.
Moon combines some of the best lines of the old Western Gaited Morgans. Her exceptional produce are proving her capabilities in the breeding shed. Her 2002 colt, Comstock, was sold and sired Gaited Morgans out of both gaited and non gaited mares. She is also the dam of Jellico Southern Fortune.

Peaches is one of the finest examples of Gaited Morgans produced by crossing the gaited Morgans Jan Mabie Pace to the daughters of WNS Windenstone. Jellico Farms Gaited Morgans purchased Peaches to cross with the grandsons of Jan Mabie Pace: Silvershoe Highlander and Silvershoe Sundance. The crossing of grandsons to daughters of a noted stallion has been a breeding technique use to produce line breeding.

Belle is almost 16h with a beautiful flowing, even, four-beat gait and Jellico Belle of Virginia (by Maestro) is her first foal. Her 2005 filly, Jellico Bliss, is sired by WNS Virginian and is strongly gaited. September 14, 2009, she produced an outstanding gaited chestnut colt, Jellico Bold Image, sired by Silvershoe Sundance.

We feel very fortunate to have acquired this extremely well-bred product of the Mary Mels program. She is a full sister in blood to WNS Touchstone.
We hope she will continue to provide us with a long line of single footing Morgans for years to come. Her foals have sold quickly when listed as single footed Morgans.

This mare was a great example of a singlefooted Morgan. She also produced several single footed Morgan foals. She helped us establish Jellico Farms as Home Naturally-Gaited Morgan horses.
Extremely linebred to the gaited sire Omar Sheriff, Touchstone was a valued contributor to our breeding program. Her 2003 filly by Mary Mels Maestro, Jellico Maestro's Touch, is a maternal sister to our good producer, WNS Southern Moon. In 2008, she produced a fine chestnut colt bySilvershoe Highlander, Jellico Whiskey Lullaby. Her 2009 colt wasJellico Ramrod. All of her foals are excellent examples of Gaited Morgans.
